The Road to 2020 - Lawi
First and foremost, thank you for your humble request. I am honoured to share with young people in Malawi and across the world on what I feel are the most basic yet important fundamentals to a successful living as a believer. Each year represents growth, 2019 has been another year of learning for me, I can not necessarily call it a lesson for this year but it is a basic fundamental and this year has been a great reminder that seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness all things are truly added unto you.
I have made mistakes at times from leaning on my own understanding and relying on my social or professional network to get goals achieved but if God does not endorse both the plans and the people that stand with you as you pursue your goals and dreams, your plans will fail and this will bring with it to you a great disappointment. So, points to take home is to seek God first, Trust in God and listen to the voice of God.
I have witnessed my personal growth within the year, as I am now more able to manage different issues of life from a different dimension, the point is acknowledge new dimensions. It is very important to acknowledge dimensions as each dimension of your life requires a specific kind of discipline and attitude.
“My people perish because of lack of knowledge” hosea 4:6. knowing what is on the heart of God for you is very important, this gives you the opportunity to execute only the plans that God has endorsed for you. If you don’t know what God wants for you, you may stray chasing the wind, in the end, you have wasted a lot of time yet gained nothing but the pain of loss.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13”
Bearing in mind all the above, I have also witnessed God expanding my territory from a small-town boy to a voice of reason for both the young and old across the world, the learning never stops. With each new responsibility has come experience, knowledge and all the lessons I need in order to navigate between relationships.
With this, I wish everyone reading this, A Happy & Prosperous 2020, as a new decade begins this is a perfect season to reflect on things that are of utmost importance alone. The truth is we do not have the luxury of time; time expires quickly just as temporally satisfaction does. I urge you to stand strong in your faith and firm in your decisions as God will honor the thoughts and desires of your heart.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:” proverbs 23:7.
“Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalms 37:4
God bless you,
